Dr. Stefan Kraus was admitted to the bar as a “Rechtsanwalt” in 1988. He has worked for Liesegang & Rinke in Wuppertal, Arthur Andersen in Cologne (where he was appointed Partner in 1993 and Andersen Worldwide Partner in 1996), EY Law, Luther and, since 2017, Andersen, all in Cologne.
He belongs to the Managing Board of Andersen in Germany and is a member of the eleven-person Board of Andersen Global.
Dr. Stefan Kraus specializes in corporate law and M&A transactions. He also advises and represents clients in corresponding disputes. A further focus of his practice is to provide corporate law advise to professional service firms as well as advising on professional liability matters of auditors, tax advisors and attorneys. In this context, Dr. Kraus was involved as a director in the liquidation of an Irish-based captive professional insurance company lasting more than 10 years.
For many years, Dr. Stefan Kraus has held the position of Honorary Legal Advisor to the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V. and is also a member of its Council.
