Dr. Thomas Koch mainly advises international and domestic clients on banking and financial regulatory, and capital markets laws. His clients include banks, investment firms and fund managers as well as companies outside the financial industry.

Thomas has more than 10 years' experience advising clients on business and product development, and related transactional work. In this context, he represents clients before German and European regulators and exchanges. He has also assisted investment firms, fund managers, payment institutions and benchmark administrators in licensing procedures with regulators.

From 2008 to 2010, Thomas was a member of the financial regulation group in the Frankfurt office of Linklaters. Prior to joining Andersen, he worked for Baker & McKenzie in Dusseldorf from 2010 to 2013 and German law firm Luther from 2013 to 2017.
