Martin Jäschke is partner at Andersen in Germany and works in the restructuring department of the Leipzig office. His practice focuses on the comprehensive advice in distressed situations, the design and implementation of turnaround concepts, the preparation of integrated corporate budgets and expert opinions on questions of viability and insolvency filing obligations. Martin Jäschke supports Investors within transactions with the performance of the financial due diligence. In the context of corporate transactions, Martin Jäschke advises investors by performing the financial due diligence. In addition, he specializes on expert opinions regarding accounting issues and the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS.
Before joining Andersen, Martin Jäschke had worked continuously in the audit department at KPMG since 2007, with a brief interruption in 2016. He has been a German Certified Tax Advisor since 2014 and a German Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2016. As auditor, he was responsible for auditing annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS. In particular, he served companies from the energy industry, listed companies, manufacturing companies and companies with digital business models. Besides the audit engagements his advisory work comprises business advice, including performance improvement and analyzing costs, as well as advice in the area of corporate governance, including design and implementation compliance management systems. Martin Jäschke is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Harz for financial and managerial accounting, controlling and cost management.
