Cord Vernunft

Cord Vernunft advises companies in all areas of individual and collective employment law. He specializes in providing employment law advice on transactions and the subsequent integration and restructuring of companies, including in the areas of co-determination, staff reduction, harmonization of working conditions and company pension schemes. His practice focuses on providing ongoing advice to companies on all matters relating to works constitution law. In this context, he frequently conducts negotiations with works councils and also acts as an assessor in conciliation committees.

Cord Vernunft provides comprehensive advice on the drafting of employment contracts (e.g. variable remuneration models) and the termination of legal relationships between companies and their executive bodies or employees. In addition, Cord Vernunft is a highly experienced litigator who regularly appears before labor and civil courts. 
Cord Vernunft's legal practice also focuses on copyright and association law.

After studying law at the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Charles University in Prague, Cord took part in a supplementary course in business law at the University of Hamburg. He completed his legal clerkship at Kammergericht in Berlin. Before joining Andersen, Cord was an Attorney and Counsel at Luther. He was admitted to the bar in 2007.
