Dr. Rouven Schwab specializes in advising domestic and international clients in the areas of commercial, trade and corporate law. One focus of his work is on advising clients from the chemical industry and other regulated industries. Dr. Schwab has extensive experience in post-merger integrations, in restructuring measures and in the implementation of risk management systems. In addition, Dr. Schwab advises on the identification of corporate risks, the elaboration and implementation of compliance policies as well as the training of the management and the staff.

After studying law at the University of Mannheim, Dr. Schwab completed his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe. Dr. Schwab was admitted to the bar in 2006. He has 10 years of experience as an in-house lawyer and was inter alia General Counsel of Israel Chemicals’ Specialty Chemicals Division in Europe/APAC from 2011 to 2015. Most recently, Dr. Schwab worked for 5 years as a partner at Squire Patton Boggs in Frankfurt and was a member of the Chemical Practice Group there.
