Annika Sokolka advises developers, project developers, investors and public authorities on all aspects of public planning and construction law. Her practice focuses on the legal support of complex urban development and infrastructure projects – from land use planning and permitting procedures through to litigation. She assists clients in establishing planning rights and advises on all related areas of public law, in particular heritage protection, environmental law and nature conservation.

At Andersen, she draws on several years of experience at internationally recognized large law firms, most recently with a focus on public commercial law, EU state aid law and public procurement. She studied law at the University of Leipzig and completed her legal traineeship at the Kammergericht Berlin, including placements at the Federal Ministry of Justice and an international law firm. She holds an LL.M. in Environmental Law from the University of Cape Town. Annika Sokolka has been admitted to the bar since 2020.
