Dr. Kathrin Pietras

Dr. Kathrin Pietras has been practicing employment law for over 25 years. She advises domestic and international companies, employers, and executives on all aspects of labor and employment law. She regularly represents clients in labor courts, including higher labor courts and the Federal Labor Court. Her clients value her solution-oriented approach, excellent expertise, and pleasant personal interaction. Long-standing client relationships enable her to gain in-depth knowledge of her clients' economic circumstances and organizational structures. Dr. Kathrin Pietras provides advice in both German and English.

Dr. Kathrin Pietras studied law in Marburg an der Lahn. After completing her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, she began her legal career at the law firm Andersen Legal and its successor, Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, in Frankfurt am Main, where she worked as a partner in employment law until 2018. From 2019 to 2021, she was a partner in the Frankfurt office of Buse Heberer Fromm (now Buse). Since 2022, she has been a partner at Andersen in Frankfurt am Main and, since 2024, heads the Employment Law practice group in Germany.
