Dr. Sören Brauer

Dr. Sören Brauer advises on tax structuring and transaction matters, with a focus on corporate and asset succession planning. His clients include high net worth individuals, family offices, and national and international companies.
In addition, Dr. Sören Brauer advises his clients in tax litigation proceedings before the tax courts and in criminal tax law, in particular on issues relating to amended tax returns and self disclosures.

After studying law at the Free University of Berlin, Dr. Sören Brauer received his Ph.D. in 2023 from the Free University of Berlin on the topic “Die Fremdanzeige im Recht der Selbstanzeige und ihr Verhältnis zu Verbandssanktionen.” From 2022 to 2024, he completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin, including placements at major international law firms in the private clients sector.
