Philipp Zschaler

Philipp Zschaler has been admitted to the bar for over 20 years and specializes in real estate law. He provides comprehensive advice to real estate companies and investors on structuring and implementing transactions, including exit planning.

He also deals with project developments and legal issues relating to ongoing real estate management, in particular commercial tenancy law. Out-of-court dispute resolution and litigation are further areas of focus.

Philipp Zschaler is also an experienced advisor on insolvency and restructuring issues and regularly advises on the realization of loan collateral and insolvency avoidance matters.

In addition to his role as Managing Partner for Germany, Philipp Zschaler also leads the Real Estate Industry Group in Germany and Europe and serves as Co-Industry Group Leader Real Estate Global.

Before joining Andersen, he was a partner at BDO Legal and, prior to that, a partner at LUTHER lawfirm.

Philipp Zschaler has been a lecturer and examiner at the Berlin School of Economics and Law since 2012, specializing in real estate law, civil procedure law and insolvency law.
