Fritjof accompanied us for around eight years as we built up the Andersen Germany practice, shaping this period both professionally and personally. We have rarely met anyone who was so committed and selfless. He was always full of drive, open to new approaches, and constantly working to improve and develop things, advancing both our firm and our clients.
As a lawyer at Andersen in Germany, Fritjof was a highly valued advisor, particularly in the areas of data protection law, IT and internet law, media law, and telecommunications law. He served as an external data protection officer for companies, taught data protection law for many years, and regularly appeared as a speaker. With his expertise and tireless commitment, he was held in high esteem in professional circles far beyond our own firm.
For us, however, Fritjof was not only an outstanding lawyer, but above all an exceptional person: direct, clear, humorous, approachable, and always willing to devote his time, knowledge, and energy to others. With his attitude, his straightforwardness, and his passion for the cause, he was always an impressive role model.
We will dearly miss Fritjof and remember him fondly as a colleague, advisor, and friend.
